Kimberley's 2011 Dance Recital

I am amazed every year at how good Kimbereley is getting at dance. She has a true talent that comes pretty easy to her. Her dance company has invited her to dance on the comp team, but I feel like six is a little to young for that kind of pressure. Besides I'm not at a point in my life where I can deicate that much time to it. I was so proud of her this year, she was up front and center in the line up on stage. I really had a proud mommy moment. I truely enjoy watching her do something she loves to do so much. She loves dancing so much and does it all the time at then house, in the car, and just about anytime she hears music. This is her third year of dance and I hope there will be many more.

Brigham's Pre-School Graduation

Brigham had his first year of Pre-School this year. Ms Julie was his teacher and has been a great teacher. He has learned so much and loves to go to school. School was so fun for him he made friends of his own and had something he could do for him self. He has kinda been living in his big sister showdown for some time now. So it was exciting to see him be him self and brake out of his shell. After prayer and talking with friends and some teachers, we have decided to keep Brigham in Pre-school for one more year. He has such a early birthday that he could go to Kindergarten or do one more year of pre-school. We feel like one more year of pre-school would be better for him. It will prepare him for Kindergarten better and he will be one of the older kids in his class instead of the youngest. He is such a smart and talented kid. I just love him!

Brigham's Party in Utah

Arrrr there maytes, We decided to have a friend party for Brigham, before we left for Indian this year. We threw a big pirate bash it was a lot. We played pin the Treasure on the map, Pass the Hook and we had a Treasure hunt it was lots of fun. I just can't believe that Brigham is going to be five this year, time just flies. I'm excited for him to grow up and experience life. But sooo sad at the same time that's he is getting big and not need me as much anymore. I guess you can call that a Oxymoron. I love the kid so much and am so happy that heavenly father choose us to be his parents.

Easter Weekend

This year for easter Dan was not able to be with us because of work. So we started easter weekend early. We took the kids to see Rio which by the way is a very cute movie. After that we went up to dan's moms house for dinner and some egg coloring. It was kinda weird and sad to not have dan with us at church and to see the kids in there new Easter outfits. SO knowing that dan was not going to be here we did Easter baskets early. We gave the kids their baskets on tuesday night. My kids know that the baskets come from us. Which dose not bother me because we do not celebrate Easter for the Easter bunny and eggs. We celebrate it for the resurrection of our Heavenly father and the suffering he went thought for us. So we might be with him and our families eternally one day. I'm am so grateful for the atonement and what it means to me. There were some firsts for us this year one having Dan gone and Brayden getting to go on the Easter egg hunt this year. He still did not know what to really do but he had a great time. I also loved the kids outfits this year we all matched wearing turquoise and kaki colors. Other then not having my hubby here it was a good Easter. I love my family so much and am so grateful to be able to be a mom and a wife.

Trip To Maui

The week before Christmas me and Dan had a great opportunity knock at our door. Dan's regional manager invited us to Maui Hawaii for a week. We had only three days to get ready to go. But could not miss this opportunity to have basically an all expanses paid trip pass us by. So we scrambled to make arrangement for the older kids. It was such a great week so warm and sunny it was hard to believe that Christmas was only a week away. Brayden was a dream baby on the trip and the two flights. He loved the swimming pool and all the big people food he got to eat on the trip. We hung out a lot at the hotel and just relaxed. We did go to a luau one night and I got to spend half the day in the spa. Pampering my self, Dan also got to go play 34 holes of golf with the owners. We were treated to great dinners by the owners almost every night. The hotel was beautiful and so kid friendlily that if we get invited next year. We want to take all the kids with us. I'm so glad Dan works so hard at his job. Because the perks pay off!

December Happenings

The first Monday night of December we went down to see the temple lights for family night. Grandma and Grandpa came down with us. It was great to have them with us. The lights were beautiful as always. We went in to the visiting center and listened to the sister missionaries sing Christmas songs. I love walking around the temple drinking hot chocolate looking at the lights it's such a peaceful feeling.

We invited some of our good friends over to make gram cracker ginger bread houses. It was a lot of fun watching the girls get sticky. Making a mess decorating their houses. I think the kids got as much candy in there tummy's that the house got on them.

Trip to the mall to see Santa. We did not buy a picture with him because they were way to pricey. For just one pitcher so they let me take one with my camera but it did not turn out. So we do not have a picture with the big guy. Brayden was not a fan he cried the minute we put him on his lab. Poor little guy!

The only way to get him to stop crying was to give him Dan's phone

I got to go help with Kimberley's Christmas party this year. It was a lot of fun meeting all her friends and helping them make Christmas tree cookies. They did a program for the parents after the party. She did such a great job. She is a performer at heart loves to sing and dance.

On Christmas Eve we have the traditions of having a nice sit down meal with our little family. We get out the good Christmas table wear. After dinner was cleaned up and the kids were bathed we opened up our new Christmas pj's and our new Christmas movie. Dan always reads out of the bible about the night Jesus was born and we rein-acted it with the kids nativity set. After that we watched our new movie ate cookies and drank hot chocolate. Before we went to bed we set out cookies and milk for Santa. And don't forget the carrots for the reindeer. We read the night before Christmas. Then off to bed the kids went.

I was looking at one of my friends blogs and it said the last update we did was five weeks ago. So I thought I better update. Basically the whole month of July. So what's been happening? Well a whole lot of stress building a house and trying to get the other ready to sell. I have loved building our house. It's been so fun picking out things and watching it come together. But stressful because I have been doing it on my own. Don't get me wrong doing it on my own has it's ups. I get things the way I want them. I'm so grateful Dan trust me to do a good job. kinda reminds me of our wedding. I did everything. I think Dan saw most of the stuff on the wedding day. Anyways it's been stressful at times when I need input. But Dan is to busy with work right now to really worry about the house. I try not to complain because I am truly grateful to have this opportunity in my life. well here are some picture of the house.

six and seven month update

The time goes to fast but he is doing great. He is sitting up most of the time. Still falls over when he gets to excited and starts to move to much. He loves to eat baby food loves most of it and gets really upset if his meal times are running late. He is such a talker and smiler. He is starting to really love his older sister and brother. He is always laughing at them and wants to interact with them all the time. He is sleeping through the night and growing like a weed. We love this little guy so much.

Wow he is five months...Time is just a going, he is doing fantastic. He is rolling over and trying to sit on his own. He is trying to get up on his knees but it deos not help that he has no interest. In learning how to raise on his arms from the tummy. All well he will get it when he is ready. He loves to eat "yay we got another eater in the family". He is such a cute and fun baby I fall more and more in love with him every day.

He is growing up... It's such a bitter sweet moment when my kids turn a year older. I'm so excited for them to progress in there lives and learn new things. But on the other hand I'm sad they just get that much more closer to becoming adults. Not needing me so much anymore.
We had a great Birthday party this year for Brigham. It was the first birthday Brigham has ever had in Utah. So we did a big circus themed Birthday party. We had carnival games set up for the kids. We had a clown come and do face painting,tricks and balloon tying. We had a jump house which the kids loved. All in all it was a great party. Thanks to everyone that came...

Were dose the time go? Kimberley had her preschool graduation last Wednesday. And it made me think, when did she get so big? I remember the day we had her, how Small and perfect she was. I think you remember the most with your firsts. I think everything is so new you just hold on to those memories a little better. I can't believe she will be in kindergarten this fall. Big kid school when did she get to be such a big kid? Before we know it she will be going on dates. I love this girl so much. She is such a great help and great big sister. So things about her, she loves to color, just about anything that has to do with art "she gets that from me". She loves to dance and go swimming. She is scared of height and movement put together "gets that from dad". She is 5 going on 25 loves shoes,dresses and make-up. I could not ask for a more talented beautiful daughter. I thank my heavily father ever day for sending here to our home!

I was able to go put flowers on my grandpas grave this Saturday. It was so nice to go up to the site with my grandma, mom and some of my aunts. To remember him and all the wonderful things he did in his life. My grandpa was a great fisherman. He loved working with wood he built many thing in his life. I have a beautiful jewelry box and a baby craddle. He also built the mantels above my firer places with his hands. I loved my grandpa very much. He was a great man and I looked up to him as a father figure. I miss him from time to time especially when I see my children. I wise he was here to see them grow and to play with them. But I know he is doing great work on the other side and that the day will come when I get to see him again...

Saturday was Kimberley's dance recital.She has worked so hard for this recital all year long and she did so awesome. I was so proud of her. She loves to dance and in my opinion "Me being the mother" she is very talented at it. We look forward to recital time every year. After the recital we all went to Olive Garden for lunch and to celebrate. It was so much fun eating good food and chatting with everyone that showed up to support Kimberley. After lunch we came home and took a late nap everyone was wiped out. When we got up from the nap we took the kids to see Shrek 4. It was so much fun spending time with my family.

It's going to fast, Brayden is four months now and is doing great. We love this little guy so much. He has brought such happiness to our family. I can not picture our family with out him. He is growing like a weed. He can almost roll over from back to tummy. Still dislikes tummy time, but come to think of it none of my kids liked it. He is sitting real well in the bumbo. They such do have neater things now a days for babies. When I had Kimberley and Brigham they did not have half the stuff they do now.

My kids have always been long and skinny
He is talking and laughing a lot; making the wet razzing sounds. He also is squealing when he is happy and your talking to him. He loves to be talked too. I would have to say that is something he is excelling in. He might hate tummy time and is a little behind in that area. not quite pushing up on his arms yet. But he makes up for it in the vocal department. He started very early laughing and smiling. And now he just jib jabs a lot. I love hearing him talk to himself when we wakes up from a nap. It's so stinking cute.

Well here goes another summer for our family. The lucky thing is we get to stay home this year. Dan is heading the Salt Lake Office this year. So if you get a guy selling alarms in your neighborhood it's one of Dan's guy so be nice "JK". We are so happy to be home this year I have not had a summer in Utah for four years. And this is Brigham's first summer here. I'm so excited to have his birthday party here this year. No one in the family has ever spent a birthday with him. So we are going to give him a really big party this year because we do not know when he will get another one here. We tyred really hard to do some fun stuff as a family the week before Dan started work. We went to the park a lot and went up day camping with Dan's family and rode our 4 wheelers. We also went a stayed at this beautiful cabin up in Park City for a night. We had a great time and it was so good to get some R and R in with the kids and Dan.

Wow were did three months go? I will tell you, out the door. I can't believe how big Brayden has grown. Wow how I love this boy, he has such a fun personality always smiling and talking. He is doing great, still hates tummy time but other than that, he loves just about everything else. We were having a little trouble with the breast feeding for a while but he is now on track and doing better. The kids just grow more in love with him as the days go by. And he has been noticing them more and more. He always wants to be included in everything when he is a wake.

So it's been a good month and Brayden been sleeping in his bed and going to bed at eight and sleeping until four and then back to bed until eight in the morning. Oh such a nice change from before. We could not get him to bed until one in the morning and to top that off he was sleeping in his swing. I know, bad mom; but when you are so tired you will do just about anything. Thanks to the colic but no more colic YAH YAH. And not to mention but he has been so much more happier with the better sleep. No more over tired baby and parents...

Easter Weekend

We Had a great Easter this year. We hosted a party at our house for mine and Dan's family with a egg hunt of course and a BBQ. We had a great time with the family and kids. We just love our families and spending time with them. This is going to be the last party we will have until the summer is over, other than Brigham's Birthday. We had a nice morning with the kids watching conference. We do not make our kids sit and watch it with us but we do make them stay in the same room and play quietly. I was surprised on how much they actual heard. They would come up to us and say " MOM they just said Jesus". They kept doing that the whole time, pointing out words they knew and understood. I loved it and I'm so glad my children love going to church and are always wanting to learn about our heavenly father. I am so grateful for Dan and my kids. And for our heavenly father and the sacrifices he made for us. So we can have the power of repentance and eternal families.

Happy St Patrick's Day to everyone.. We started our morning off with some green eggs and ham. The kids were not sure what to think of them. Disney On Ice has become a tradition in our family to go to every year. Last Friday we went with the whole family and it was great. We had a great time and Brayden did pretty good. He did not know what to do about the noise or all the lights. But for the most part we had a good time. We went to the early show this year and we liked it a lot better because we grabbed dinner after the show. And swe were still home by eight to get the kids to bed. We got the kids Disney charachter shirts this year Kimberley wore Tinker Bell, Brigham wore Lighting McQueen "of course" and Little B wore Micky Mouse too cute...

Two months

I can not believe Brayden is two months. It's gone by pretty fast it's had it moments were it felt like time had stopped. Like at two in the morning when we are trying to get him to go to bed and we have been trying since ten. He is doing great and we just love the little guy. He is starting to adjust to life a little and sleeping better it is still really hard to get him down for the night but we have been lucky the past week and he has gone to bed by 11 aboth half the week. His reflex and colic are getting better. He is having fewer colic spells at night now which is so nice. We took the little guy to the doctored on Tuesday and he is doing good we got the go a head to start sleep training at four months. Right before Dan starts the summer which will be great I don't think I could do our routine on my own I would be a zombie mom.

Brayden's Baby Blessing

This Sunday Dan blessed our sweet little boy. It was such a great day with family,friends and great food. We had a great turn out thanks to everyone that traveled to come and share such a special day with us. I am so grateful to have a priesthood holder in my household. It is such a pieces of mind to know that if we are needing a blessing of any kind that Dan is able to perform them for us. I am grateful to my Heavily farther for my husband and children and all the blessing he has instilled upon us in our life. It is such a special thing to hear a father give his new baby a blessing with things that will enrich there life's.

Trip to Switzeraland

Well we were really bummed this year because we were not able to take the Apx trip. It was a week after we had Brayden and everyone was sailing away to the Bahamas without us. To top it off we won a trip to Kauai and we had to sale it to another manager because we thought Brayden would not of handled it to well. So with the money we went to Switzerland instead. Well kinda, we rented a condo up in Park city with the theme of Switzerland. The first night we dropped off the two older kids at grandmas and Dan,Brayden and I went up to Park City. We took a stop at the outlet stores and got a start on some summer clothing for the kids. After that we went and changed and went to a very nice dinner and then back to the condo for some movies and a soak in the big jetted tub. On Sunday grandma and grandpa brought up the kids and that is when the real fun started. We put the lasagna in the oven and went to look at the glacier things they had made on the little golf course. When we got back to the condo and opened the door smoke came rolling out. The kids had ran up the hall playing around. When the smoke hit the fire alarms it set them off. The doors in the hallway automatically shut leaving the kids on the other side of us. They were freaking out and screaming because as they turned around to say to us "come and get us" the doors were shut and the fire alarm was going off. And it was very loud. All we had to do was open the doors and the kids came flying out screaming and crying. It took a little bit to calm Brigham down and let's just say he would not leave my side all night.

Who said she could get so big I can't believe my little girl is five. I remember the day I had her. They just grow up so fast she is doing great. She loves art and doing craft's. She also loves pre school and dance. She is a great helper with the baby and loves to help with anything but cleaning her room. she is a very loving child always want hugs and kisses. She loves reading and going to church. We took her to get her five year old pictures taken she loves getting her pictures taken. I can't believe how old she looks in them. We had a small birthday party for her this year with grandmas. We love her very much and are so happy our heavily father sent her to us...

Wow my little one was two weeks on Monday. He is doing good we thought he had Colic but found out he just has bad gas some night's. And those night's are not fun but better then Colic. When Brayden was born he weighed 6lbs - 9oz and was 20 inches long. When we left the hospital his weight was down to 6lbs and 2oz. At the check up he was up to 7lbs and 7oz and is now 21 inches long. Wow the boy is growing like a weed but then again he loves to eat. He is doing good starting to stay awake for 45 min at a time in between eating and sleeping. We are starting to get a schedule down. He loves his night bath's and loves to be patted on the belly. I know that sounds weird but he does. Kimberley is in love with the kid she wants to be every were he is and is always kissing him and telling me she loves him a billion times. She is a great help and will do just about anything to help as long as it deals with the baby. I wish it was that easy to get her to clean her room. Brigham loves the baby but hates all the time I have to spend with him. He is starting to act out a little it's hard on me to see that. Because for so long he was my little guy and we have a very special bond me and that kid. I am just waiting for Brayden to get a little older and to have his schedule down and I'm going to have to start taking Brigham and doing special things with him. So he does not feel so left out. The house hold has been a little crazy but stuff is starting to settle down a bit.

So we found out on Tuesday that we got the Salt Lake office this year. So that means we will be home this summer. Staying in our own home and sleeping in our own bed's Ahhhhhh. So nice I'm so excited to stay home this year I can plant flowers in my yard and I get to enjoy my own yard. There are so many things that I'm not going to list everyone of them but staying home this year is great. I have not had a summer in Utah for four years. And to know I get to stay home this year is so great. So this summer is going to be a party with friends and family so exciting....

Frist Pitcher

On Monday the 4th Baby Brayden was born at 1:13 p.m he was 6lb-9oz and was 20 inches long. He was just about the size Brigham was when he was born. We deliver at Ogden Regional. We had to stay in the Hospital for three days because I had a C- section. It was nice to have the extra help but really boring because we could not have any visitors. He is so far a happy baby, loves to nurse and is sleeping pretty good for a new born. We love him so much and are grateful to be able to have children.
Here is a little funny story; when they pulled Brayden out of me, I wanted to see him before they cleaned him off. so our doc lifted him up to show me and he peed all over Dan. It was really funny because Dan's mom had told us before we had Kimberley that dan had peed all over his Doctor. I guess the apple dose not fall far from the tree.
We got home on Thursday and the in laws brought the kids home too. I was way excited to see there reactions to Brayden. Kimberley is just in love with him she fallows me around every were and is always saying how cute he is and how much she loves him. Brigham dose not get involved to much he says he loves him and is always worried about him when he cries but other then that he is off in his own little world.

I love this time of the year the colors of the leaves and the feeling in the air. It's not too cold but just cold enough to grab a blanket and cuddle with your loved ones and watch a move. We had a great time this Halloween season. It's been a lot of fun with the two kids being older. We went to the aerospace Museum on the 18th. They put on a free hunted House for the kids. It was a lot of fun the kids had a great time and were not to scared they gave them a bag of candy at the end. On the 28th our ward had a trunk or treat the kids loved that it was a lot of fun handing out treat's and then going in side and having a hot soup dinner afterwords. We went trick or treating with Dan's older brother and his three kids this year. The kids had a lot of fun walking around it seemed like Kimberley was the leader of the pack this year. She was the first one up to the doors and the first one off to the next one. "I wounder were she gets that from." After trick or treating we were off to grandmas house to eat some dinner. Homemade corn dogs and the best ever homemade donuts so good. We also have just been doing a lot of stuff at home like backing with the kids and having a fire and hot dog roast out in our field. I love my family and am grateful for every second I have with them.

Last week Kimberley's Preschool class went to the fire station for a field trip. The kids had a great time playing in the fire truck and the ambulance. We go once a year with the preschool and it seams that the kids will never get sick of it. The kids have asked us once a week if we can go back to the fire station. We also have two little boys in the class that have police man for dad's. So before the trip the the fire station they came in the class to talk about safety. They also let the kids get in the cop car and turn on the sirens. What a fun day Brigham keep telling us he wanted to be a fire man after the trip.

Last night me and my sister in law C.J. Went to Thriller put on by Odyssey Dance Company. It was such a great show we had so much fun. For those who do not know what it is it's a program put on every Halloween season. The Dancers do dances to some of the scare movies. Like they had Chucky-Rama, Salem's Mass, Children of the Corn and many more. They did such a good job. This was my first year going but this will defiantly become a every year thing for me. I love to watch people dance. We went opening night so we got really good prices on our tickets. I would defiantly go if you have not they are performing every night this month with 31st being the last night.

Just about two weeks ago we went to the circus when it came to town. We had a OK time the show was not all that great. We took Kimberley the year we were Michigan and we loved it. The show was great but this year it seemed to have more magic then anything else. The kids got board though a lot of it. I was so glad we went opening night because are tickets were only twelve dollars a piece. I think we will be sticking to Disney on Ice for now on.....

This is a very late post but about three weeks ago we went to the fair. The last time we went to the fair Kimberley was just a baby. So we decide for family night we would go and check it out. Well you defiantly see all walks of life there. There were lost of different vendors and there was a part with rids and then they had the animals. Wow what a small some of those buildings had with all that live stock in them. We had a good time I think it was a little over prized for what you got but what isn't these days. I think we will be making this a every other year or longer thing for our family.

23 Weeks, Kidney Stones and Oh Yeah We are Having A

23 WEEKS

Well last Friday night Dan's mom took the kids on a over night stay. So me and Dan went to the drive in and saw a movie. It was great having a date night. We have not had one in a long time. Well five in the morning I woke up with this killer pain on my right side by my kidney. I took some pain relief and tyred to go back to sleep. But I could not get back to sleep the pain just keep coming. So I went and took a hot bath and that did noting. By six thirty I was in so much pain I told Dan he needed to take me up to the hospital. And anyone that knows me I hate the Doc so that would be the last thing I wanted. I was scared and in a lot of pain so Dan called up to labor and deliver and they told him to bring me up. So we went to the hospital and got checked in. The nurse had me take a pee sample and said I had the highest amount of blood in my pee and that I was having kidney stones. She went to get my a shot for the pain which took one and a half hours by the way. By the end of that I was begging Dan to make the pain stop. The nurse came in and made all the pain go bye- bye. I went to sleep for awhile, later when I was getting ready to leave the nurse told Dan when a guy has a kidney stone it's like giving birth. Well the last week I have been passing them and in a lot of pain but I had Dan and his Dad give me a priesthood blessing and I have been feeling great as of this Saturday.

The high light of last week was on Tuesday we found out we are having a BOY.... Dan was so excited to have another boy and the kids were too. I thought Kimberley would be a little disappointed because she always is saying she wants a sister but she was happy. So that's that. Me and Kimberley are now out numbered in the Erickson's house hold...

ON TOP OF THE PECK

AFTER THE 24 MILE RIDE

On Thursday we went camping for Dan's family reunion up in Mantua. We had a great time it's been four long years since this family has been camping. We stayed two night's it was the kids first camping trip and they loved it. we had a lot of fun four Wheeling. On Friday night Me,Dan, Dan's dad and Kent went on a 24 mile trail ride up to Willard peck. The ride was really nice and easy or I would of not went with being prego and all. But it was a beginner trail so not a lot of rocks or steep hills. It was one of the most beautiful rids I have ever been on, up in the mountains with all the trees. All in all it was a great weekend and so nice to spend the time with the family...

Ya our summer is over we are coming home this sunday. I can not wait to get home I have missed home, family and friends this last mounth so much. It feels so good to know it's at a end. Dan has done great this year he has hit all the goals this year to max out his pay scale. we were a little worried this year on how he was going to do with the way the economy is. He said it's been harder this year to do it but we did it. For the last mounth he has had to go to a city three hours away for the week. So the only day we have been able to see him is when he would come home on sunday. That was really hard to have only seen hime four times this mounth. But you have to do what you have to do to make the money. We are hoping to get a Salt Lake office next year which would be way nice and then we are also hoping to only do this for two more years. Well I can't wait to see everyone!!!!!!

Sandia Peak Tramway

A couple of Sunday's ago we went on the world's longest aerial tramway. Sandia Peak it was a lot higher then I thought it was going to be. I'm not going to lie I was scared I'm never really scared of stuff like that. But it was way high and went slow so I think with both of those reasons is why I was scared. At it's highest point on the way up your 8,750 above the ground. When you reached the top your elevation in 10,378 feet. When we hit the top we went for a mile hike it was so nice and beautiful. It's been really hot lately so I have not wanted to go out side a lot it makes me feel sick. But up there it was nice a cool the kidos loved the hike after the hike we ate at the restaurant they have on top of the mountain. It was a really fun day.

Summer Fun

Well the end is in sight we have six weeks left until the office is closed. I'm really missing home,family and friends. I can't wait to see my house and sleep in my bed. It always seems like the last month is the hardest for me I get really home sick. I don't tell Dan because I know he is to and he still has six weeks of work left and I don't want to make it hard on him. Dan might be going to a smaller city three hours away and staying down there the last two weeks of the summer. If so me and the kids are going to fly home for those two weeks. Grandma will take the kids and I will fly back and drive home with Dan. We will see how that goes.

I have been feeling a lot better these day's I have even been able to get up in the morning and go to the gym. I will tell you on thing I do not have as much energy when it comes to the gym I use to work out for two hours a day and now I'm lucky to work out a hour by then I'm wiped out. We should be finding out soon what we are having. I'm personally hoping for another boy. We are also on the look out for a Doc in Utah that will let us try to have the baby and not have to have another C-section. If I have another C-section I will not be able to have anymore kids. We will have to stop at three and even know I don't want to confirm it I think we need to have on more. So if anyone knows of some good Doc let us know. That pitcher is of me at 14 weeks. Look at how big my tummy is getting!!

We love to go swimming we go just about everyday. Both of my kids have got so brave this year. When we started going to the pool when we got her. Kimberley would not even get in the pool and we had to talk Brigham in to it. Kimberley started going in the pool but would only stay on the stairs and only go swimming. If me and Dan were holding her hand. But now look at her she is a little fish she swims around the pool by her self. Brigham was never scared of the water but he would only jump of the side of the pool if Dan was there to catch him. Then he started to jump of the stairs by him self and now he will jump off the side by him self. Kids amaze me at how everything is just a step to them and in no time they seem to have figured it out and then nothing is stopping them.

Well the Erickson family is doing great. Dan's is doing well with his sales top in the region and is leading the office. We have hit are half way point with about seven week's left "ya". I can't wait to get home we have a lot to do before the baby comes. We are going to re do all the bath rooms in the house, move Kimberley down stairs, finish those never get done projects we started before we moved in, our yard needs some work and the baby nursery. Wow that a lot to do in four and a half months.

I'm doing a little better with the morning sickness it seems to have lighted up a little in the morning but still pretty bad at night. Today marks the first day in the second trimester "14 weeks". I have my doc appt on Monday to see how the baby is doing. As of now I have only gained 4 pounds due to being sick and I'm trying to watch what I eat. I'm loving fruit like Kiwis, Strawberry, Grapes, Pears and etc. I also love sandwich ham and cheese. I'm not that big of a sandwich eater but that's all I want lately and mashed potato's. Don't you just love all those strange thing you eat when your prego. My tummy is already big for not gaining a lot of wight I have got the prego belly I can't believe it comes faster and faster with ever pregnancy.

The kids are doing good I feel bad because I don't have the energy these day I try and do as much as I can to make such they have a fun summer and I think they are. Kimberley asks a lot of questions about the baby. One that had me rolling was. I was laying in bed one morning after taking my morning trip to the the bathroom. she came in and asked me if I was sick and I said yes that the baby makes me sick some times she then went to ask me word for word " Why did daddy put the baby in your belly?". I started to laugh and then told her to go ask daddy that question. Dan did not know what to say so we did one of those change the question and have her think of something else. It's been a lot of fun with the kids and this pregnancy all the question and the involvement they have in it is great.

Forth of July

We had a great forth this year. Me and the mom's started the day hanging out by the pool while the guy's went to work for half a day. We spent a little to long down there in the hottest part of the day. Everyone got a little pink even the kids that had sun block on them. After that we head home for some naps and rest. We packed up a picnic dinner and head to the park to watch the firework show. This show was amazing one of the best I have ever seen it was way long and they keep coming one after another. Kids loved it we decide to pick up some fireworks on the way home. The kids had a great time with the sparklers Brigham is such a boy three and already loves fire "OH DEAR". Kimberley was a little scared at first then end up loving it. We all head home about one in the morning to get some sleep because we have church at nine. All in all it was a great night with family and friends.

Baby New's and More

Well we had our ultrasound last Thursday. I'm 12 weeks along and am due on January 9th. We have Eight more weeks until we can find out the sex. I was going to try and hold out and not find out. But I don't think I can wait that long and with this most likely being our last I want to do the room really cute because it's the last nursery I will be doing. I have been still really sick but I hope that will get better soon. I feel like a bad mom and wife lately all I do is lay on the couch and throw up in the toilet. My house is a mess and there is never laundry done. Dan's lucky if I cook dinner at night. I think Heavenly Father new men could not handle this so he gave the blessing to us to be sick for the first three months, uncomfortable for the next three and feed up with the last three. Oh but at the end when your holding your new baby you never remember what you went throw to get to that point and the kids never look at dad the way they look at you. I feel truly blessed to have been able to carry the three children to feel them grow and now to watch Kimberley and Brigham grow. I love those two kids with all my heart and despite being sick I can't wait to meet this little spirit I'm carrying right now.

Father's Day

For Father's Day me and some of the girl's got togather and made shirts for the daddy's. It was a lot of fun making the shirts my shirt said " Hands Down Your The Best Dad" and Kimberley and Brigham put there had prints on the shirt. We had a Father's Day BBQ and all the guy's wore there shirts. It was really cute because every shirt said something different and you could see that the guys were proud to were them.

A couple of Saturdays ago we took the kids to the zoo. It was a lot of fun the Zoo here is really big it took us all day to go through it. The kids got to do a lot of fun extra stuff like ride on a Camala, watch the Polar Bears get feed and a lot more. they loved it.

Well I have been very bad about keeping this blog updated lately. But I have good reason's for that it's called morning sickness or is it called night time sickness. I have been battling the sickness for the last three weeks. Right when I wake up and always at five at night until I go to bed not to fun. So that explains the lack of posts and pitchers lately. We have our first Doc appt this Monday I'm very excited for it and can't wait to see how the little peanut is doing. I will let everyone know what's going on there ASAP.

Dan is doing really well he will be hitting his 100 account mark at the end of the week witch has him on track to hitting his 250 before the summer is over. We are loving it down here the weather is great in the 80. We go swimming and go to the park everyday. The ward is really friendly and nice. I recently went to a enrichment night and got everyone in my family a 72 hour kit made. It a little peace of mind knowing we have those but me and Dan have are work cut out for us when we get back. Getting our food storage ready our goal is to have one full year before we head out next summer. So I think I know what our family home evenings are going to be for the next year. Me,Dan and some friends had the opportunity to go to the Albuquerque Temple last Friday. It is so nice that we have a temple so close this year one of the thing's me and Dan miss all summer is going to the Temple. It's nice to have one 10min away from your house every other year they have been like two hours away or longer. I'm am so grateful to be able to be close to one this year and able to go on a regular bases.

Well this Wednesdays was Brigham's third birthday I can't believe he is three. He is such a big boy in a away I feel like I'm starting all over again with this little bun in the oven there is going to be a big space between them.But that's OK I know we did it at the right time. We had a birthday party on Sunday for Brigham at ChuckeCheese it was a lot of fun. It was so nice they planed and did everything for the party all I did was sit back and enjoy seeing the kids have a great time. They played games, danced with chucky had a magic show and enjoyed pizza and cake and ice cream.

Aquarium

A little while back we went to the aquarium. We had a lot of fun looking at all the fish the kids loved it. Each year we go to the local Aquarium and it seems like each year the kids love it even more. There getting older and are starting to understand tings better. We saw some Sting Rays as big as Brigham and these mean looking sharks that had there teeth showing the whole time freaked me out. We had a great time hope you enjoy the pitchers.

Albuquerque

We are here we left right after Kimberley's Dance Recital to start the eleven hour drive down to New Mexico. We pull out about five that night. It was not to long of a drive but I still like to flying better. We made it three hours out side of Albuquerque and stopped for the night the intent was to drive the whole night but I was so tried and the kid could not get settled in the back set. I don't blame them who could in a car seat. I hate it when Dan drives while everyone is sleeping so I made him pull over and get a hotel. Later as we were setting down in the bed getting ready to sleep which was three in the morning. He said he was grateful I had him stop he was pretty tired. But you know man they will never amity there tired and what to stop. We went down to breakfast and ate I grabbed a orange which I have been eating a lot of lately for the road. This is were the pitcher of Kimberley comes in. We were in the Hotel getting ready to leave and I turned a round and Kimberley had put the orange up her shirt and said "look mommy I have a baby in my belly to" I was like your so cute. If only I looked that cute prego love that girl to Pisces!!! Anyways we pulled up to the apartment at two. I will post some pitchers soon.

Kimberley's Dance Recital

Last Saturday Kimberley had her dance recital. She has been working hard on the Danae routine since September in dance class and at home. She did such a great job. There were times the other girl's forgot the part and Kimberley just keep go and helped them out. I was such a proud mom. She defiantly has the dancing bone in her. she loves to dance and were costumes. So this was perfect for her we will be defiantly putting her back in Danae this September and right back to Studio 48. They did such a great job with her. I was very happy with the out come of this years hard work. Thank you to every one that support Kimberley and came to see her. What a great Mothers Day I'm going to be having this year. I get to celebrate the new addison to the family. That right I'm Prego I found out on Tuesday morning. I called Dan right away to tell him the good news. He was so happy and excited. He has been trying to talk me in to having another baby after Brigham turned one and half. But I was just not ready. I felt the over whelming spirit tell me at the first of April that it was time. So the first of April we started to try and get pregnant. It's kind on funny I have never really tyred to get pageant. I have all ways just found out I was pregnant with other two "and was like OK we are having a baby" the Lord has all ways decide for me in that area. Well any way's I know it was meant to be because Dan left right in the middle of the month. So I thought there is no way I'm going to get pregnant in two and a half week's. Wrong I am and I am going right in to my fifth week if my calculations are right. Dan did the sweetest thing later that day he sent me three dozen roes one for each kid to congratulate me. It made me cry he truly is a great husband and father!

Friday marks a week of Dan being gone. He is doing really well for his first week back. He sold 12 accounts which is great he is on his way to his 50 before he comes home to see Kimberley's dance residual. And the short drive back down with the whole family.
This whole signal parenting thing is so hard. I never realize how good I have it until the summer starts and I'm on my own with the kids full time. Dan only see them for three hours in the morning and the whole day on Sunday in the summers other then that I'm on my own. I'm so blessed that Dan works at home with little hours seven months of the year. He helps in so many ways with the kids.
I miss him very much this has been the longest we have been apart. These three weeks are killing me but only two more to go. I have been trying to stay busy around the house and hanging out with friends. But can't wait to start the summer with Dan. I miss you Honey and will see you soon!!!!

Well Dan is getting ready to leave to start the summer. He is going to leave on the 24th. Wow I all ready miss him he will be out there three weeks before us.. We are staying until May 17th because Kimberley has a dance recital and we are going to throw Brigham a early birthday party this year. Dan is going to fly back to see Kimberley and celebrate Brigham's birthday with the family. Then we are all driving down together. Brigham is truing three this year and this will be the first party he has had with family around. So we are going to let him have a big party on the 16th of May and a little one on June 10th his birthday. We have just been doing as much around the house as possible. Fixing things here and there finishing projects and doing yard work. I'm getting excited to start the summer at the same time I'm already starting to miss home, family and friends. We are thinking of doing a big camping trip when we get back so if anyone is interested let us know.

On Friday we went on a huge group date. We had a great time we went to Olive Garden for dinner yum yum. And went and saw a movie after dinner. we saw the Knowing it was a pretty good movie with a lot of surprises thought it. We also welcomed a new member to the Erickson family that night. Mark, Dan's second youngest brother asked his girl of two years to merry him that night before they came to dinner. It was so cute to see how excited they were. It so weired I meet Mark when he was 12 when me and Dan started dating. He's my first family member to get married. I forget he is going to be 23 in August I think I still see the 12 old boy when I see him. I was a little shocked at first until I remembered Mark in 22 and ready to start a new chapter in his life. He picked a cutie to start that new chapter with.

Monster Trucks

Dan took Brigham for some father son bonding the last weekend of March. Down to Vegas to see the monster truck nationals. It was the first time that Dan has took Brigham anywhere out of the sate with out me. They had a great time hanging out with the boys and staying up late. Dan said Brigham did really good on the drive there and back. And they both had a great time in Vegas. Dan was the only dad that brought a kid. But I think next year that will change because a lot of the guys missed there boys. Seeing Dan and Brigham have such fun together. Dan is a great daddy I'm so grateful for that.

Well the girls stayed home and did some much need bonding of are own. I wanted that weekend to be all about Kimberley. We went to see the new movie Monster VS Aliens it was a cute movie. We went shopping and played at the mall on Friday night. On Saturday we went to lunch at our family's favorite place Chilli's and then went to pick up the supplies to start working on Brigham's room (a work in progress). we had such a great time hanging out I love that Little girl so much. She is a very friendly and beautiful girl.

Two Fridays ago we went to Disney On Ice. The kids had a great time they never moved there eyes were plaster to the show. They had such a great time. It gave us a great idea. I think we are going to take a Disney Cruise for Christmas. Instead of giving the kids toys for Christmas. Last year me and one of my friends took the girls to Princess on ice. We had no idea that the girls should dress up so this year I remembered. Kimberley Dressed up as Sleeping Beauty and loved it.

Our Sunday was a Sunday to never forget! It all started on Tuesday. We got our home Security System put in to our house. Well on Saturday night we forgot to set our clocks a head. We figured this out when we were sitting on our bed boasting about how for the first time in our life's since we had Brigham, that we were ready to go to church with about a hour to kill. Well me and the kids were ready to go. Dan was laying on the bed looking at his phone and jumped up to inform me we had 15 minutes to get to church. Before we were going to be late well Dan put on some clothes and we went to get loaded in the car. Dan set the alarm and off to church we go. We were sitting in sacrament and Dan looks at me and said he needed to step out. He was gone for about 30 min when he finally came back. I asked where he went. He said he would tell me later but I'm inpatient so I told him to "tell me now". Well I guess we did not shut our garage door that leads in to our house. Our alarm went off and they tried to call Dan, but we were in church so we did not get the call. Dan's mom is our back up and she sent a text to Dan that the cops were at our house and that are alarm went off. So I'm like OK is everything all right. Dan just looks at me and said that the k nine dog took a bite out of the couch. Well we get home and the first thing I do is run up stairs to look at the couch. I was so upset, we have only had these couches for a year. I was going to let it go and chalk it up to an experience. Until I went in to our room and saw one of my pillows tore up. By then I was so mad I started to yell and told Dan that I want to call the cop and talk to him. Well I went down stairs and found another pillow and baby mattress and our new air matress tore up. By this time I was so mad Dan had to calm me down. We called the cop and now are in the proses of getting a check for the $600.00 worth of damage that was done.

Our good friends the Dillwords need a place to crash on Friday night.They were on there way home to Organ from Arizona so they stop in and crashed at our pad. It was so good seeing them and there kids the last time we saw them was in September when they crashed at our house driving home form the long trip back from the summer (Florida). Fat Cats

We took the kids to Fat Cats last Wednesday to celebrate Dan's Birthday with the kids. It was the kids first time going bowling they loved it for the first five frames and then every time there turn was done they would ask me if they were do yet. We went and at the Pizza Factory after bowling the pizza we OK and way over priced but we had a good time.

Can I Have Some Boons

Well I hope this post dose not offend anyone but I thought it was funny. To start the story the kids clime in bed with me and Dan every morning we read stories and just love on the kids. We call it morning bed time. Well one morning Kimberley was talking to me and all of a sudden she pated at my chest and ask "mommy what are those. Well I explained to her that they were my boobs and then told her that is how I feed her and Brigham when they were baby's. She seem pleased at the answer because she did not ask anymore questions. Well about a week later we were reading books in bed and she asked me if she could have some boons and pointed to my chest. I started laughing and asked what did you call them "boons mommy". I had to explain to her that when her body was ready she would grow some. Then she said so I can feed my baby's I said that right but I will be a long time before that and to enjoy being little because I'm not ready for you to grow up yet.

Well it's long over due. we have been doing good, our little Brigham has found a new love for taking off all his clothing and running around the house naked. I think it's so funny because Kimberley never did this. I got these magnets for Dan for Valentines day in Vegas. I love the one about being prego you all know Dan has been trying to talk me in to getting pregnant for the last year. I just haven't felt ready and we all know I love Chocolate so it cracked me up. we had a great Valentines day me and Dan went and got a couples massage and stood in line at Olive Garden for 45min for dinner we had a great time.

Trip to the Dentist

The kiddos had their first trip to the dentist. They got their teeth cleaned and X-rayed. And I'm happy to say they have no Bugs(cavity's) that's what we call them. Kimberley did not like it to much she cryed and we had to hold her down thank goodness for gas (when she gets older). She's like me I have a fear of the dentist. Brigham on the other hand thought it was the coolest thing in the world.

Vegas

Well a lot of you know I went to Vegas to see my Grandma. I went as kind of a birthday present slash mom needs time away trip. It was really good to see my grandma. I'm very close with her. She now spends her winters down in Vegas and we spend are summers away so I don't get to see her as much as I would like. The trip was great. I did not do to much down there because all I wanted to do was chill out. It was nice not to have to worry about mommy duties but I missed my family very much. I have a great hubby and he did a great job with the kids for a whole week. But he must of missed me because when they came to pick me up from the airport he had a dozen red roses for me.

well Vegas was fun. I have these really funny pitchers of my grandmas new hubby Jerry. OK so this guy is in his 70's and stays up until two in the morning. OK lets get this strait I'm 27 and can't make it past 11:00. Well I found out why he can stay up so long, one night after we ate dinner me and my grandma sat down to play card games. I looked over and saw Jerry a sleep sitting in his chair with the remote in his hands and his head phones on (he can't hear the t.v. very good). I thought this was so funny the way he fell asleep I took some pitchers. Well on another night I was sitting in the chair next to Jerry and my Grandma and I looked over and they were both sleeping. Well if this is what you have to look forward to when you get old please help us all HE HE.

We went to Madame Tussuad's Wax Museum it was way cool. I could not believe how much they look like the real people. My grandma took me the the show called "O" it was so cool. I was not able to take any pitchers, what a bummer. I have wanted to go for a long time. Im glad I was able to go and enjoy that with my grandma.

On Saturday Kimberley turned four I can't believe it's been for years that we have been so blessed to have Kimberley in our life's. She has been such a great joy in our life's. She has done so much growing in the last four years. She is getting so smart and developing a personalty of her own some time's we don't like the new found independents Kimberley has developed but we love her she is our little girl. I have to show a pitcher of Kimberley's cake because I was so proud of it I made it with my own two hands. I have never been able to make any thing like this. Betty crocker had a step by step video on the Internet it made it so easy to follow and the out come was great.

Super Bowl Sunday

We had our first Super Bowl party this year. we thought it would be easier to have are own then to take our kids to someone house. we had about 11 people show up. I was a lot of fun we had good food "what's a super bowl party with out the good food" I wanted the Cardinals to win and they came close. I thought the best play was when number 92 ran the ball all the way from the Cardinal's end zone to the Stealer's end zone and made a touch down that was way cool.

Cancun

We went to Cancun last Wednesday with a bunch of Dan's co-workers. We had a great time I did not get a lot of pictures because I was super sick with a head cold and did not feel like doing much. I still had a good time the water was beautiful and the weather was nice and warm. It was nice seeing some of our friends that don't live very close. The Hotel was great very nice right off the beach we had a good time we were only there for three nights and two days and I really missed the kids a lot I think next year we are going to take them with us. Me and Randi went Parasaling and Thursday and on Friday a bunch of us went and played on Jet Sky's we drove to this place with corle reef and went snorkeling I got some great under water pitchers I just don't have them developed yet. good times!!

Here comes Santa Clause

On Thursday Dan played Santa Clause for Kimberley's preschool the kids thought it was really cool that Santa came to see them at school. I know Dan got a kick out of it. Every year he and I play Mr and Ms Clause for our Christmas party's. I know he really enjoys it and loves see how the kids react to him and what they ask for. It would not surprise me if he played a Santa at the mall when he is old and dose not need to work anymore.

Temple Lights

Last Monday we went to the Temple for family night we meet Dan's mom and Dad and his sister there and walked the grounds with hot coco. I did not get that greatest of pictures because my camera died. Let just say I have not been having the best of luck with the camera lately. But any ways I love going to the Temple you get such a great peaceful feeling when you walk the grounds. The Salt Lake Temple is one of my Favorite it's been a little over a year seance our family was sealed there. I'm so grateful for the saver and the sacrifice he gave so we can have all the wonderful opponents we have on this earth in this time and day.

Christmas update

Well we had a great weekend full of family party's. We went to Dan's moms side on Saturday afternoon were we feasted on home made soup and bread with Grandmas homemade chocolates. It was nice to see everyone. All the kids in the family are getting so big not to say that the family it's self is getting so big.

On Sunday night we went to Dan's dads side for a ham diner with the famous funeral potato's. It's nice to share the Holidays with family and see people you don't really see any other time. I was un able to get picture of the party's we did not stay to long Brigham has been sick so we just stayed to eat and drop off the gifts. But we had a great time seeing the family. Thanks to our family for there love and support we love you all!!!

GINGERBREAD HOUSE

Well today we made a Gingerbread House it was the first this family has ever made. The kids had a great time helping put the candy on the house and eating it to. I think this is going to become a thing we do every year. I love having my own family to start our own traditions. It's starting to feel like Christmas with the snow and the cold. The kids were so happy to wake up to it snowing. I hope everyone has a great week before Christmas!!!!
